· Know all the vocabulary from lessons one and two: ecosystem, habitat, population, community, producer, consumer, decomposer, food chain, food web
· Know the difference between a carnivore, omnivore, and herbivore.
· Be able to explain how parts of an ecosystem interact and depend on one another. Give an example. (example: frogs eat flies)
· Be able to identify different populations within an ecosystem.
· Know the differences between a producer, consumer and decomposer and identify examples of each.
· Know what can happen to an ecosystem if part of it was destroyed. How would it affect the other parts?
· Use the lesson checks for 1 and 2 as a study tool.
