Chapter 12

Represent and interpret data

As the year is coming to a close, we will be spending some time learning about data collection, recording, and interpreting.  We will also touch on perimeter and area in chapter 13!

  Multiplication Madness on Wednesdays!

Starting April 2nd, students will be given a mixed 0-12 timed quiz each Wednesday.  They CAN NOT RETAKE THESE.  Instead, upon completion of the timed quizzes for the fourth quarter, will will drop the worst two quiz grades.  The rest will be averaged for one multiplication test grade for the fourth quarter of their report card.

Math Homework

Math homework is assigned every evening except Friday. (Unless there is a test, check my progress, or a chapter review.) Students are responsible to have their homework completed each day for us to review. Some assignments are graded on a credit/no credit bases. Others are collected and graded by me to ensure understanding. I do not tell them in advance which papers I will be collecting for a grade.
