Cocoliso

Target Skill:  Character Traits

Students will be exploring a character from the story Cocoliso and what that character see, feels, hears, smells, and touches in the story.

Our writing ties into our reading series (My View). Students will slowly work on building a mini narrative using different target skills beginning with plot and setting

Students will engage in a research project about an animal.  They will research what the animal looks like, its diet, habitat, and other facts about this animal.  They will color the animal to look like its description and share these with the class.  Animals will be assigned to the students.

Grammar

In Unit Two, students will be learning about nouns.  Common nouns, proper nouns, nouns in the subject, singular and plural nouns, irregular plural nouns and possessive nouns.
