Target Skill:  Visualizing

Our writing ties into our reading series (My View). Students will slowly work on building a mini narrative using different target skills beginning with plot and setting

Upon completion of the animal research project, we will be combining writing with Social studies for a short Michigan Research paper.  Students will research various things about our state like motto, bird, animal etc.  They will also be designing a flag that they feel represents our state as well as look into all the activities our state has to offer.

October 28th-Verbs

Students will learn about action verbs, present, past and future verbs.  They will be able to identify verbs in sentences as well as learn about helping verbs and the verbs of Being. (am, is, are, was, were)
