Be able to label all 5 Great lakes on a Map
Be able to explain how climate affects plant life and how ecosystems interact.
Be able to identify a natural hazard.
Be able to list 3 natural resources found in Michigan.
Be able to list a major industry in Michigan.
Be able to identify 2 ways we can protect our ecosystems. (conserve, recycle)
Know the difference between a renewable and nonrenewable resource.
Know all four of Michigan's seasons and how we adapt for each one.
Students will be making notecards for each chapter. It is encouraged that these notecards be reviewed several times a week so they are prepared for vocabulary quizzes.
