Chapter Seven

There will not be a math test for Chapter Seven as we are just continuing with our basic facts and reviewing problem solving strategies.

Chapter Eight begins on Monday, January 26th.

This is the second book for our math series.

Multiplication Madness on Wednesdays!

The following is how the students will be quizzed.  Remember, they are allowed to retake ANY quiz below a 92% they want for a better grade.  (They can also retake them as many times as they want and the best grade will be taken)  All final quiz grades will be averaged for a multiplication test grade each quarter.  This begins second quarter.

Jan. 21: 4 Times

Jan 28: 6 Times

After all facts are completed, a mixed x0-12 quiz will be given each Wednesday.

All quizzes are 25  problems.  They will get 5 minutes to complete all 25.

Math Homework

Math homework is assigned every evening except Friday. (Unless there is a test or a chapter review.)  Students are responsible to have their homework completed each day for us to review.  Some assignments are graded on a credit/no credit bases. Others are collected and graded by me to ensure understanding.  I do not tell them in advance which papers I will be collecting for a grade.
