The students will explore the different properties associated with addition and subtraction as well as the relationships between the numbers in fact familes. Please review basic addition and subtraction facts as we move through the chapter. This is an essential skill while preparing for multiplication concepts in the near future!
Math homework is assigned every evening except Friday. (Unless there is a test or a chapter review.) Students are responsible to have their homework completed each day for us to review. Some assignments are graded on a credit/no credit bases. Others are collected and graded by me to ensure understanding. I do not tell them in advance which papers I will be collecting for a grade.
