Bunking and lofting beds can be done in Caecilian, Morrison, Rauenhorst and St. Mary Halls. Residents of Albertan and Georgia are not able to bunk or loft beds.
Bunking is a great way to create additional living space in your room. Lofting a bed, although not as stable, is also helpful in creating space. However, both bunking and lofting also can lead to dangers or damage, especially when done incorrectly or without the right number of people to help. Because of this, we require a comprehensive agreement for those who seek to bunk or loft, in order to ensure that instructions are followed, safety is managed and damages are avoided.
With your single sign on university credentials, please visit the below linked section of the My Housing portal to access or complete a bunking / lofting agreement.
Please be aware that the agreement process should take 10-20 minutes to go through thoroughly, and we encourage that the process be completed prior to a resident's intention to pick up lofting materials. Completing the process on move-in day can result in waiting in line at the lofting station.
