SCISO is an organization for International students at St. Catherine University. It encourages respect and understanding for the cross-cultural and international backgrounds on campus. SCISO welcomes support from domestic students who are interested in learning more about other cultures. It brings awareness to cultures from all over the world.
The main purpose of SCISO is to promote unity with diversity and sharing of cultures to make room for development and positive growth through communication, support, community projects and activities, within the University as well as beyond. For example, we host events such as International Education Week, Africa Night, Peace Prayer, and International Night which are open to students, faculty, families, and community members. We hold biweekly general meetings that are open for everyone to come and enjoy through intercultural conversations and games.
