Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Mrs. Lori Poston. I was born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky, but we have lived in Bowling Green for eight years. I have been teaching for 21 1/2 years! I taught 5th grade for 12 1/2 years, 3rd grade for 3 years, 1st grade for a year, 4th grade for four years, and now I am looking forward to year 22 being the best one yet back in 4th grade!

I have three wonderful children. Elise is 18 years old and a freshman at WKU with a major in biology and minor in pre-health with pre-veterinary advisement. She moves in her dorm on August 17th! Elijah is 13 years old and in 8th grade at South Warren Middle School. He is the starting wide receiver & strong safety for the Spartans football team. Rowdy is 7 years old and will be in first grade here at SJS. He will soon begin year two of tackle football with the Warren County Youth Football League this fall! We have a sweet lhasa apso named Arlo. He turned four years old in June.

I am so excited about this year! I am looking forward to keeping in touch with you throughout the year. Please feel free to contact me anytime via email. We're going to make a great team!🙌
