Welcome to fourth grade at St. Joseph School! My name is Mrs. Jessica Dilsaver-Sandusky, and I am delighted to be your teacher this year. I am a two-time graduate of WKU. I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education in 2008 and my Master's in Library Media Science in 2013. I have taught third through sixth grades and was an Instructional Coach for teachers grades K-6.
I love to spend time with my family, especially outside. My family and I enjoy being on the water, in the woods, or taking care of flowers and our vegetable garden. We are parishioners at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
As a parent, I know how important it is that children are influenced by those who believe they are unique and important. It is my privileged vocation to ensure that I lead them through an example of love, respect, and devotion to God in all that we do. Our classroom will be a place in which all who enter are valued and nurtured. "Children are like flowers, beautiful, delicate, and unique. We nourish them so they can bloom and show their brilliance of color."
