Highlights!
Week three was a breeeze!

Please Make sure your child is doing all homework. In my ELA class, several students have not been reading the small amount assigned. It is important to read every night, at least so that they can participate in class.

6th Grade Religion
In our 6th Grade Religion Class, we have been discussing the Bible, what is it, and how is God speaking to us through His word.
In 7/8th Grade Religion we have discussed how we are made in the image and likeness of God.
Last week we focused on the source of our Dignity as sons and daughters of God
This week we are focusing on our purpose for existence

7/8th Social Studies
This week we will continue diving into our Unit on Mesopotamia!! We are almost done with the overview and will be looking into building a timeline!

English Language Arts
Continuing Holes by Louis Sachar!
This week we will finish up holes, and begin a writing project reflecting our time spent with the novel.
Students have begun reading independently for 20 minutes a day! Please make sure you sign each night.
