Mrs. Dempsey has worked at St. Joseph Catholic School since 2006 and began teaching at St. Joseph High School in 2021. Mrs. Dempsey started her career at St. Joseph Catholic School as the Physical Education, Health, and Art teacher instructing Pre-School through 5th grade. As our school expanded, she became the full-time Art teacher for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade and added grades 9-12 in the 2021-2022 school year. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in Fine Arts and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Art Education. Ms. Dempsey is a licensed children’s fitness instructor, certified Pixar in a Box facilitator, and serves on the Educational Advisory Board for the XIAB learning platform.
