The Danger of Communist Idealization in Today's World

My topic is about the danger of communist ideology in today’s world.

It covers the dates of when the Soviet Union was alive which are 1922-1991. It will also be about the idealism of communism in today’s world.

Learning about historical events opens the eyes of people and they find out the truths behind a specific historical event.

One of the main themes in my topic is that a union of countries that were united by force under communism never ends well. The Soviet Union is a major example. It fell apart in 1991. Therefore, communism never does any good for society.

Nowadays, it is a trend to support and praise communism that some people follow. These people do not understand what horrifying things happened to people living in the USSR, especially under Stalin and Lenin. People idolize Stalin today, but they do not understand that he was one of the most terrible dictators in history. He sent 10,000,000 innocent people to labor camps. More than half of them died there. There are still many countries living under communism such as China, North Korea, Cuba, and Vietnam. Therefore, I chose to research this topic to make clear the truth about communism and its effects.
