United States War in Afghanistan

My topic is about the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan as well as its involvement in the country since then.

The U.S. War in Afghanistan lasted from 2001 to 2021.

Knowing our past is important for making decisions for our future that could impact others. Understanding these past events can inform us so that we can make justified decisions.

I have discovered that tribalism is most often problematic, especially when attempting to create a new government because it often hinders progress.

I chose to research this project because of the current events occurring in Afghanistan. I want to be informed as well as inform others about why we were there.
