2nd Grade Tech Parent Page

Hi Parents and welcome to 2nd Grade Tech!

This will be the place where you can come to get an overview about what our trimester goals are, to get an update on what they'll be working on each week, or to view the end result of their work, along with occasional photos of them hard at work!

During the year, our classes will alternate between:

-Working on typing and word processing. We'll practice typing using proper home row technique, along with also developing and improving word processing skills. They will write friendly letters, taking care to use appropriate capitalization, spelling, word spacing, and punctuation;

-Engaging in digital citizenship conversations, including being good digital citizens, the difference between private vs. personal information, and what digital footprints are;

-Completing small in-class projects related to digital drawing, simple animation, and simple coding assignments.
