Hi! I wanted to share a little bit about me!
Professional: This is my fourth year teaching at SJS, and my fifth year teaching in total! I have always taught 5th grade, and I even interned in a 5th grade classroom during my senior year of college. I graduated in 2021 with my Bachelors in Elementary Education and Special Education from Loyola University Maryland. I studied abroad at the beginning of 2020 in Cape Town, South Africa at the University of Cape Town. This school year, I will continue to be the SJS Religion Department Chair, as well as the Archdiocese of Baltimore Religion Curriculum Expert for Grades 3-8. I also lead the Liturgy Club, 8th Grade Mass Ushers, Classroom Helpers Club, and Send Some Sunshine Club here at SJS! I also assist the Middle School Pickleball Team (through SJAA) during the fall and spring season.
Family: I am the youngest of 6 siblings! In total, there are 8 of us in my family. I also have 5 beautiful nieces, and 1 handsome nephew, that I love to spend my time with.
Me: I absolutely LOVE anything sports related. I'm obsessed with the Orioles and Ravens. I go to games very frequently! I'm also a summer swim coach for Valleybrook Country Club! I enjoy playing volleyball, tennis, pickleball, field hockey, and softball. Forrest Frank is my favorite Christian music artist! I really like being outside as much as possible, and my faith is extremely important to me!
