Service Dog on Campus

Starting on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024, a Service Dog will be on campus at St. Joseph School. His name is Merk, and he will always be in the Art Room and with Ms. Forline on campus. He is well-trained and up to date on all vaccinations. Please talk to your child about how a Service Dog is a working dog rather than a pet or mascot. He is there to assist as needed and is not to be petted or played with. Please know that this was worked on in conjunction with the AOB offices of Catholic Schools and Human Resources.
