Wednesday: HSPT Day! We learned study skills to use on the HSPT! We read over the words and definitions from p. 221-225 and highlighted the ones we DON'T know yet. We studied those and learned to apply the skills attached to them by using p. 227 through 230 "Geometry Practice"; No Homework

Tuesday: Warm-up: Cut out the yellow cards and sort into 3 categories on the sheet before putting them into the pockets in your notes to study for this week's test.
Wednesday: HSPT Study Day! Quantitative-Patterns & Sequences account for ABOUT 1/2 of the Quantitative section!!! We looked at 24 different types and practiced finding the next or missing terms (p. 106). Then, we checked our answers on p. 136.

Week of 9/28/2026
Monday: Today, we started Module 2 with lesson 2.1 Investigate Reductions and Enlargements-Day 1. We completed the Problem of the Day, p. 48 Are You Ready?, the 2.1 Reteach, and Homework is p. 50, Worked problems A and B (not just angles A and B...both sets of problems). Protractors were sent home with students who needed one.
Tuesday: Today, we checked homework and finished lesson 2.1. Homework p. 55, #1 and 2
Wednesday: HSPT Day-We took Practice Test 1 Quantitative and checked our answers on p. 444. We highlighted the ones that we missed and will review those types the next time we meet. NO HOMEWORK.
Thursday: Problem of the Day; 2.2 Reteach, Exit Ticket; Dilations Worksheet (time given during 2nd class today-due tomorrow (Monday for Shadows absent tomorrow)); Waggle-Dilations (just the first one). These are due after the start of class tomorrow for those w/o an internet connection tonight. For shadows, these are due on Monday prior to the start of class.
