Tuesday, 12/2: Mrs. Mitala was out during Period 8 today (your class). You were responsible for completing Waggle. The class period was 29 minutes long. It is expected that you completed a minimum of 15 minutes of Waggle during the class period. Therefore, a grade out of 15 points has been added to the gradebook. The Waggle grading applies to the crediting of these minutes.
Wednesday, 12/3: There are 2 assignments in HMH Ed. One is a practice/review of multiplying and dividing decimals. The second is the Module 5 Review. OUR MODULE 5 TEST IS THIS FRIDAY.

Monday, 11/24: Classwork-We started the period with completing the lesson on HMH (online) until we were interrupted by technical difficulties (a network change). There are "4" assignments. Once you complete the first assignment, please go into parts 2, 3, and 4 to ensure that your work is there. Once you see that it is, go back to your assignment dashboard and click "done" for each of those. Complete the Check for Understanding (collected and graded).
Tuesday, 11/25: Classwork-The Pixel Art located in Google Classroom was completed in class. Students should follow the directions posted on Google Classroom. The assignment closes tonight at 11 pm. NOTES: 1.) Use the distributive property first if you can. 2.) Combine like-terms (xs with xs, ys with ys, and constants with constants). 3.) The sign that precedes the number "goes with" that number when performing operations.

Wednesday, 9/17: Today, we reviewed p. 44 and talked about how to be successful in class by:
1.) Staying focused on the lesson.
2.) Asking questions when we're confused.
3.) Attempting each problem with the skills that we already have to figure out things we might not know yet.
It is my goal that each of the students in this class achieve their highest potential. This can only be accomplished if everyone gives me 100% of their effort and attention during each class period.
The Module 1 Test will be moved to Monday, September 22nd.
Tomorrow, we will review content from Module 1 by practicing more of the problems from topics which were more difficult. We will also start on our Module 1 Review.
On Monday, we have a double period. During our first session, we will review the answers to the Module 1 Review. Students will take the test during their second session. This is so that students have ample time to practice and review content, ask me questions, and feel confident going into their first test of the year.
Thursday, 9/18: Classwork-We completed the "Test Review" on p. 50 and reviewed answers. Then, we completed as much of the Module 1 Review as possible. We will review the answers to the Module 1 Review on Monday during period 3. Students will have their test during period 4.
Friday, 9/19: No School!
