What's Going on in ela?

Reading: We have started a new novel, Dear Mr. Henshaw by : Beverly Cleary! This book is mostly written in the form of letters and diary entries and we will incorporate those skills into our writing lessons as well.

Writing: Our New Year, Word of the Year writing is an explanatory writing project in which students select a word for 2026 and write to explain why they chose it and how it fits into their lives.
