What's Going on in ela?

Reading: We have started a new novel, Dear Mr. Henshaw by : Beverly Cleary! This book is mostly written in the form of letters and diary entries and we will incorporate those skills into our writing lessons as well.

Writing: In the novel, Dear Mr. Henshaw the main character, Leigh Botts, writes letters and eventually diary entries to the author, Mr. Henshaw. In class, we are writing letters in our new journals answering some of the questions that Mr. Henshaw asked  Leigh to answer when he wrote letters back to him.

Grammar:  Unit 2 - Nouns - Test tomorrow!
