In third grade we will be working on grammar, handwriting (print and cursive), phonics, spelling, vocabulary, reading fluency, reading comprehension, sentence structure, paragraph writing, and the writing process. We will meet nine class periods per week.
Week of March 23, 2026- We will learn about irregular verbs (Unit 3 Lesson 23). We will continue to write our own fable. We will include detailed characters, moral/lesson, problem, and solution. We will use dialogue in our fable. We will complete a rough draft of our fable and have a partner edit. Spelling words: blew, boot, news, school, grew, knew, noon, pool, threw, roof, balloon, choose.
