In third grade we will be working on grammar, handwriting (print and cursive), phonics, spelling, vocabulary, reading fluency, reading comprehension, sentence structure, paragraph writing, and the writing process. We will meet nine class periods per week.
Week of February 9, 2026- We will learn about present-tense verbs with unique spellings (Unit 3 Lesson 17). We will continue our planning sheet and begin our rough draft for our opinion writing. We will edit our own writing and have a partner edit our writing. We will read and spell multisyllabic words with different syllable types. Spelling words: snow, road, almost, row, grow, window, follow, coat, goat, float, below, soap
