On September 18, Saint Joseph High School welcomed back our friends for another year of fun and friendship. With 22 friends in attendance, the 2026 Falcon and Friends year will continue to be an impactful organization.
Students of all grade levels and experience volunteer their time to offer an action filled afternoon to our friends. Each volunteer is paired up with a friend, and they can choose a variety of activities such as, arts & crafts, axe throwing, dancing, a snack bar, and more.
“It is a great time to bond with the friends,” says Matthew Shallis ‘26, a four-year volunteer.
Run by Mrs. Altobelli and student leaders Kristian Almanzar ‘26 and Christopher Lawlor ‘26, they help to pick a theme for each event and relay important information to the families of participants. With this month's theme being back to school, we can expect next month's theme to be Halloween.
