This refers to the experiences, values, lessons learned and education outside the classroom - This is where sport has a critical role to play.
History of Water Polo since 1971
The original Water Polo goals were donated to the school by Mr Pratley in 1971, at a time when fixtures were played “after the galas".
In 1975 a schools Water Polo league was introduced.
In 1977 the first Saints boy to be chosen for a SA Schools side was Grant Eckersley, whilst in 1981 N Rowley and A Currie played for the Transvaal Schools U19A team with a further 5 players making the team in 1984.
All three (Eckersley, Rowley and Currie) were awarded Honours, together with D Parsons and S Ford In 1986.
In 1988 the 1st team scored 77 goals in their first 3 matches and in 1989 seven boys played for the Transvaal Schools Open side.
