This is the OLD Parent Hub.
LOGGING ONTO GOOGLE CLASSROOM ON ANOTHER COMPUTER USING YOUR SON’S CREDENTIALS
We strongly discourage parents to be logged on with their son's credentials to Google Classroom on another computer with him not present. This can be perceived as an invasion of both his, his classmates and his teachers’ space - in the same way as it would be inappropriate if you popped randomly in and out of his physical classes. You also could inadvertently delete or change work that he has submitted, which would not be in his best interests.
Google Classroom is also a closed system that only students and teachers with @stithian.com email addresses can access in order to protect the privacy of our students and staff.
We rather encourage you to sit with him once or twice a day and ask him to show you the work he is busy with. Logging into the classroom will not enable the parent to see what their son is doing unless they are sitting next to him, they will only see the work that has been posted, which is the same information that is contained in the guardian summaries.
If you stop receiving guardian summaries, please contact your son's tutor to check what email address you used. If it is correct, then ask your son's tutor to remove you and re-add you as a guardian. You will need to accept the invite again.
We have no control over the summaries, they are managed by Google.
