Home at Learning 

Home Learning at Netwon focuses on consolidating knowledge and understanding in core subjects as well as offering opportunities to develop skills such as researching and presenting through learning contexts, which may involve aspects of Health and Wellbeing, Social Studies, Sciences and Technologies, Religious and Moral Education and Expressive Arts.

At Newton Primary School, Home Learning continues to be provided via the Google Classroom learning platform. Google Classroom and the range of G-suite tools are within the secure network of stirlingschools.net and all children have access via their own login and password.  All Primary 5 to 7 children have access to their own Chromebook device which can support learning at home.  Primary 4 will have access to devices in school for the first part of the year and will begin to  bring chromebooks home at some point after the Christmas or February break.
