The Barista Skills course is a wonderful opportunity for pupils to pursue their interest in coffee, hot drinks and working in a catering/retail environment. In the course, you will learn all about the fascinating history, production, processing and preparation of coffee drinks. In addition, and equally exciting, you will get the chance to prepare a range of hot drinks like lattes, cappuccinos and mochas on our industry-grade barista machine. You will contribute to school's new Cafe. This course will develop your creativity, taste and flair; it will hone discipline and cleanliness in a drinks-prep environment; and it will help you to build excellent customer service skills. 

The Daydream Believers Creative Thinking Award at Level 6 SQA is a qualification designed for 15-18 year olds in Scotland to develop their creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and resilience skills. It involves completing three challenges within a chosen "Creative Playlist" over an academic year.  The award is credit-rated by Edinburgh Napier University and recognized by several Scottish universities for admissions.
