The Tolbooth offer a wide variety of instrumental and music learning opportunities. Many of these programmes are FREE and are well established and have been running for 15+ years. Many have seen young musicians move on to careers in music, as performers, producers, sound engineers, filmmakers and teachers.
All of the music learning programmes at the Tolbooth are led by professional musicians who perform on a regular basis, but who also love teaching and sharing their passion for music.
The workshops are a great opportunity for young musicians to meet other young musicians who share their love of music, and are very social, friendly and welcoming.
It is also a fantastic opportunity for young musicians to learn, play and perform in a professional music venue.
A majority of the programmes are FREE thanks to funding and support from Stirling Council and / or the Youth Music Initiative.
