BLAIR DRUMMOND SAFARI PARK TRIP
Our whole school trip to Blair Drummond Safari park is next Wednesday 20th May. Please return your child’s consent form and payment if you have not already done so.
The buses will be leaving school at 9:30am sharp. Children should bring with them a snack, packed lunch, plenty of water, waterproof jacket and sun

They should wear sensible shoes and their school uniform so that they are easily identifiable in their school jumpers.
Children do not need to bring money on the trip as we won’t be visiting the shop.
School packed lunches will be supplied for anybody needing one.
Staff will carry any medication for children that we already have in school.
It is not a long journey to the safari park but should there be any requirements for travel sick
medication please let the school know.
We should be back at school for 2.30pm for the normal 3:15pm finish. If there are any delays, we will notify families via Class Dojo.
If your child has a Season Pass, please inform the school office and provide us with the membership number by no later than Monday 18th May.
⭐️SUMMER FAIR⭐️ (ORGANISED BY THE PARENT COUNCIL)
Sat 6th June Time - 12pm-2pm
We have another Summer Fair fast approaching that we are in the process of organising with some great things to look out for - There will be a BBQ, some great local stall holders with food and amazing products to sell, a bouncy castle, there will be a colour run and great activities & games for kids of all ages to participate in such as 'Beat the Goalie' and 'Sponge/Soak a Teacher'!
✅ We are looking for donations of 'Teddies' in good condition to sell for our Teddy Tombola (these can be dropped off at the Office)
✅ We are also looking for volunteers to help run some of the games and to serve tea, coffee and hot dogs and we are asking for classes to get involved too, so watch this space!
✅ Our fabulous coloured hampers are also back and we will be asking classes to help donate an item of a particular colour towards the Hamper if possible tied in with a 'Dress Down Day with a Hamper donation' planned for Friday 29th May.
Our Summer Fair is a great day to help fundraise money for our school - with this year the focus on more developments in our Playground, funds towards more PE equipment and possibly also contributions towards 'paint' for some classrooms in much need of a new coat of paint. We so value all your help and support, so please pop the date in your diary and we will look forward to seeing you there!

YOUR STIRLING, YOUR SAY: LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Stirling Council is preparing the next Local Development Plan (LDP) https://www.stirling.gov.uk/planning-and-building/planning/development-planning/developing-our-next-stirling-local-development-plan/
which will cover the whole Council area except for the part within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
Once completed and approved, the next Local Development Plan will set out where development should and should not take place, identify important places and assets that require protection, and include local planning policies to guide decisions on future planning applications.
Two surveys have been launched where we invite your views on the emerging Spatial Strategy and the Site Options https://engage.stirling.gov.uk/en-GB/folders/local-development-plan currently being considered for inclusion in the Proposed Plan.
The Spatial Strategy consultation is seeking to gather feedback on the early ideas for the hierarchy of settlements and the associated development approaches, which will guide decisions about the distribution and scale of growth across the Stirling Local Development Plan area.
The Site Options consultation builds on a previous consultation for a call for sites. This time we are seeking specific feedback on the options that are currently being considered for inclusion in the Proposed Plan.
Alongside the surveys, a number of public drop-in events are planned to take place during May and June. The confirmed events can be found here.
https://engage.stirling.gov.uk/en-GB/projects/site-options
Further events planned for Balfron, Bannockburn, Doune/Deanston, Dunblane, Stirling, Thornhill, and Throsk will be organised in June.
The closing date to respond to this stage of the consultation is Thursday 23rd July.
If you have any difficulties with the survey, or have any further questions, you can contact us at insights@stirling.gov.uk.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey!
