Meaningful distance learning should be intentionally designed to involve student voice and choice - and take our kids AWAY FROM THE SCREEN. Instead of preparing and delivering tech-driven lessons, John Spencer - educator, author, maker and advocate for the creative-driven classroom - suggests that teachers focus on the following:

• Critical thinking

• Creativity

• Voice and Choice

• Empathy and Service

• Collaboration Across Ages
