*Lyre for YOUR instrument for 8th Grade Night (Not required for tuba, percussion, or double reeds).
These items will be explained in detail in class and will also be in the band guidelines passed out on the first day of school. In order to ensure that you have the correct equipment, please do not purchase prior to the beginning of the school year.
PERCUSSION STUDENTS ALSO NEED:
*1 pair Vic Firth Ralph Hardimon Corpsmaster marching snare sticks (wood tip) #SRH
*1 Sabian 1/8'' stainless steel triangle beater #61128
These items are in addition to what was required in 7th grade. All equipment should be in their stick bag. Stick bags should be brought to class every single day.
Any or all required item can be purchased together from the band program through Palen Music. An order form will go out to all students at the beginning of the school year that lists each item they will need for their instrument. Items will be delivered to band class. This is the easiest and most efficient way to get your items. It also solves the problem of mistakenly getting the wrong item.
