If you want to apply to any university in the UK you have to apply through UCAS.
UCAS is a centralised system to apply to all universities in the UK and all applications are processed through UCAS.
The first step in applying to the UK is to create an account in UCAS, using the link on this page.

You will need a reference before you can send your application.

(18:00 UK time) Deadline for applications to the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and for most courses in medicine, dentistry, and veterinary medicine/science
You can add choices with a different deadline later, but don’t forget you can only have five choices in total.

(18:00 UK time) Equal consideration date for applications for most undergraduate courses

Extra opens
If you've used all five choices and are not holding any offers, you may be able to add another choice in your application. For more information, visit our Extra page.

APPLYING TO UNIVERSITY IN IRELAND
Ireland has a number of universities, institutes of technology, and colleges offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Most undergraduate applications are processed through a centralized system called CAO (Central Applications Office).
Types of Institutions:
Universities (e.g., Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin)
Institutes of Technology (e.g., Technological University Dublin)
Private Colleges (e.g., Griffith College)
Research courses on official websites like www.cao.ie and university websites.
Pay attention to entry requirements (e.g., subjects, grades, language proficiency).
Make a list of up to 10 course choices (Level 8 for Honours Bachelor Degrees and Level 6/7 for Ordinary Degrees).
EU/EEA Students: Entry is usually based on school-leaving exams (e.g., Irish Leaving Cert, A-Levels, IB).
Non-EU/International Students: Requirements vary by country. Check each university's international admissions page.
Language Requirement: If English is not your first language, you may need TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent scores.
Create an account at www.cao.ie (opens 5th of November).
Submit your application before February 1st (standard deadline).
List your course choices in order of preference.
Pay the application fee (approx. €30–€45).
Late applications (until May 1st) are possible with a higher fee.
📌 Non-EU students usually apply directly to the university, not through the CAO.
Depending on your nationality and the course, you may need to upload:
Academic transcripts and certificates
Proof of English language proficiency
Personal statement or motivation letter (for some courses)
Passport or ID
If accepted:
Get your letter of acceptance from the university.
Apply for an Irish Study Visa online via www.inis.gov.ie.
Provide:
Acceptance letter
Proof of financial support
Proof of accommodation
Health insurance
Visa application fee
Universities offer on-campus housing or help with finding private rentals.
Consider costs, location, and transportation.
Book flights and plan your arrival.
Upon arrival, register with the university.
Attend orientation programs to get introduced to campus life, academic expectations, and student support services.
Start researching and preparing documents early (6–12 months before).
Double-check all deadlines and requirements.
Contact the international office of your chosen university for help.
