1-Secret Stories
Amplify CKLA is our core reading program. CKLA stands for Core Knowledge Language Arts. This program provides students with the phonics skills and the background knowledge to become successful readers.
UFLI is a phonics program St. Francis uses it for intervention with elementary students who need extra practice with some phonics skills. This is a science of reading based program which has research showing how it works.
Wilson FUNdations is a phonics program used for intervention with elementary students based on phonological-coding research and Orton-Gillingham principles.. This program was previously used at. St. Francis as the main phonics program before switching to Amplify CKLA.
Wilson Reading System is a Tier 3 Structured Literacy program based on phonological-coding research and Orton-Gillingham principles. This program is for students who are not reading at grade level.
Barton Reading System is designed for students of any age who struggle with spelling, reading, and writing due to dyslexia or a learning disability.
