Uniforms & Dress Code

Shirts

Red or Black SFdSCCS Polo

*White polos no longer permitted

Shirts must be tucked in at all times

Students may wear a plain white shirt beneath jumpers/dresses

Shorts & Skorts

Khaki pants/shorts/skort OR black pants/shorts/skort

*Shorts/skorts must be at least mid-thigh or longer

*Cargo pants/shorts not permitted

Jumpers & Dresses

Red or Black SFdSCCS Polo Dress

Red & Black Plaid SFdSCCS Jumper

*Dresses must be at least mid-thigh or longer

Socks

White socks/tights

OR

Black socks/tights

Shoes

Black shoes (including soles, stitching, logos, etc.)

*Boots, slipper-style shoes, or open-back shoes are not permitted

White-soled gym shoes for P.E. class

Belts

Black belt with a simple buckle is required if pants have belt loops

Additional items may include:

• Sweaters or sweater vests with SFdSCCS logo (red, black or white), no hoods

• Red, black, or white hair accessories:  plain headbands, barrettes, clips, small bows

• Watch

• Religious medal or bracelet

• Girls: post earrings or nickle size or smaller hoop earrings

• Girls: may wear leggings/jeggings only if the pants have pockets and belt loops

To complete the look:

• Shirts must be tucked in at all times

• Hairstyles need to be clean, neatly styled, and out of the student’s eyes

  • Boys: hair must be above the uniform shirt collar and out of the eyes

  • Hair can’t be unnatural hair color (unnatural would be pink, blue, other loud colors)

  • Any hairstyle that is deemed disruptive to the learning environment is prohibited

Prohibited items include:

• clothing with non-SFdSCCS logos

• denim

• cargo pants/shorts

• hoodies or any jacket/sweatshirt with a hood cannot be worn during class time

• boots, open-toe shoes, backless shoes, slipper-style shoes (ex., Uggs, Crocs)
