Drone Package Delivery

For Senior Design, our team would take the following steps:

• Connect with delivery companies / USPS to assess the need and desire for a delivery service performed with drones. 

• Research into known path-finding and swarm algorithms.

• Create initial designs for a minimum viable product. This can be either sketches or 3D models of the product.

• Manufacture early prototypes with 3D printing. 

• Create a functional prototype capable of making use of the algorithms studied and components made in the previous steps.

• Rigorous testing of the prototype.

• Using feedback from the testing / connections made in industry to enhance the prototype, either code-wise or component-wise. 

• Once content on a final prototype, the drone is ready to be displayed for the Innovation Expo.
