Drone Package Delivery

Product Hazards:

• Battery deterioration will affect the drone over its lifetime like any other battery powered product.

• Propellers may be damaged and need to be replaced overtime from clipping objects in the way.

• Battery deterioration and loose propellers will cause drone to make loud buzzing and vibration sounds which will irritate customers.

• If software for AI is not installed correctly or up to date the drone may have unpredictable behavior.

• Hooks for package transportation may be damaged and drone may not be able to pick up products.

Solutions:

• Drones will be powered by hydrogen fuel cell which can fly farther, lasts up to three times longer than lithium batteries, and will charge faster. Hydrogen fuel cells operate silently and only emit nonhazardous water.

• Quality control can conduct regular checkups to ensure parts are not failing or coming close to failure and are tight and not coming loose. These checkups could also confirm the correct software is installed and that all drones are up to date.
