Customers need a reliable signal processing solution to effectively communicate across wireless systems with minimum digital interference. The Digital Front End (DFE) algorithm aims to reduce noise for OFDM signals by means of a newly developed windowing process.

What were the primary objectives of our project?

• Validate results of the windowing process via a simulation in MATLAB.

• Write hardware logic system and testbench to evaluate real-time performance on an FPGA.

• This project is centered around technology that is proprietary to Jabil Electronics Inc. In accordance with company policies, all members of our team were required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

Meetings:

• As agreed between our team and involved parties at Jabil, weekly status meetings took place to discuss progress and remedy any questions or confusion.
