Today our group evaluated different ways our website could be misused from its original purpose and how we can fix these issues. We also evaluated how the website might change as the years go on, and how we will respond to the website when it's at the end of its lifespan.
Today our group determined that we should pivot from our original idea, since its big scope started to make the other assignments harder to consider and complete. We are thinking to perhaps change to a software-oriented solution to a problem or to use the Raspberry Pi as a micro-controller for a sensor or another kind of stimulus-activated solution.
Today our group determined our Needs Assessment. We wanted to focus on a GPS that works underground, and determined that the best audience for this kind of technology would be miners who work in mine systems. Their jobs are especially dangerous, so having a kind of positioning system could help them if there is an emergency or work accident like a cave-in.
Today the google site for our group's project was made. We will update this page with more little blog-adjacent posts regarding our progress in our projects and what changes we've made. There is a helpful Table of Contents at the top of this page to easily navigate this page when it gets more entries.
