Pep Rally Assistants - aid in running pep rally events and prizes. Example: Host a Spirit Sign Contest
Battle of the classes - design and run events in which HS classes compete for the Golden Eagle Award
Game Photo Ops - Design and host a photo booth or photo opportunities for Eagle Fans at home games. Encourage photos to be shared on social media

Sponsor the Student of the Month and the Employee of the Month
The committee will be responsible for monitoring nominations and electing one student from the upper and lower schools of SCISD.
Will select one employee of SCISD per month
Will be responsible for recognizing the students and employees and passing out awards
Will host an end-of-the-year dinner for all students and employee winners throughout the year.
Will ensure photos are posted of the students and employees on the website and on the recognition board.
Meet the Eagles - the committee will put together a spotlight for different participating UIL athletes and academic members participating in UIL, OAP, FFA, and FCCLA.
I.E. create a short PowerPoint or spotlight highlighting who's who at SCISD recognizing the many talents of our student body.

Organize a community day
Allow members to volunteer for different organizations or local needs around Sterling City including clean up, assisting families, reaching out to the local library, or the local nursing home
Responsible for communicating with local organizations who might need volunteers and organizing the efforts.
Host an Alumni Panel once a year - suggested at homecoming
Will contact local alumni willing to come to campus and speak with current students about jobs and post-graduate experiences.
Provide students the opportunity to ask questions and have a list of questions ready to ask the panel.
Will Em-Cee the event and regulate student questions.
Be the go-between between our society and outside organizations and community members.
look for sponsors from local companies to sponsor different events throughout the year.

Plan, organize, and run our major fundraiser
Gather money and ensure cleanup.
Will commit to hosting a minimum of 4 fundraising opportunities per year outside of our major fundraiser. Ideas include:
Cow Bells - Decorate and sell cowbells for home football games to Eagle Fans
Selling popcorn before scrimmages
Hosting a tailgate before major games
Hosting a homecoming dance after the homecoming game
Selling approved spirit shirts
Host a 50/50 drawing
