MEET YOUR TEACHER

Hello 4th grade families!

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! My name is Peyton Hermann and I'm ecstatic to teach another year of 4th Grade at St. Stephen the Martyr. Absolutely look forward to meet you and can't wait to get started with the new school year!

Here is a little bit about my educational background -- I graduated from University of Nebraska-Omaha with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Inclusive Practices. After that, I taught 4th grade Spanish for Summer School in Millard. Later that year, I began substituting for Millard and Gretna Public Schools. During the same school year, I long-term substituted for two different 4th grade classes and loved it!

I was born in St. Louis, Missouri but moved to Omaha, Nebraska right before 2nd grade (the same year I decided I was going to be a teacher :) ). When I am not teaching, I enjoy antiquing. My favorite find you might ask? A 1930's typewriter! Additionally, you will often find me with a book in my hand as I consider myself an avid reader.

This will be my third year teaching as well as being at St. Stephen the Martyr! Wow, time has flown by here! I will be teaching your child Reading (Vocabulary and Spelling) and Science. :)

Please reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or comments. I'd love to hear from you! :)

Sincerely,

Ms. Hermann
