Christian Identity

Thank you to all the families and friends of the school who attended our Christmas Celebrations.  The children in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 all put a tremendous amount of effort into learning words, songs and dances in order to retell the story of the original Christmas, when Jesus was born.  It was a joy to perform to such packed and appreciative audiences and we hope we were able to fill you with a little Christmas cheer.

Dear God,

Thank you for sending your only son down to earth to save us. Help us to show love and respect to others, particularly at this special time of year. Remind us to always give to those who are less fortunate than us, and put others’ needs before our own. May we remember to this day the story of Jesus’ birth, so that we can continue to serve and honour him. 

May we be filled with the wonder of Mary, the obedience of Joseph, the joy of the Angels, the eagerness of the Shepherds, the determination of the Wise Men and the peace of the newborn King. 

Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, bless you now and forever.

Our Lord, Jesus Christ.
