Calculated Grades Results

The Calculated Grades will issue to students on 7 September. All students will reveive their results through the Calculated Grades Student Portal.

St. Dominic's College will evaluate closer to the time if it is possible to welcome the students receiving results to the school on results day, as would normally be the case. Because all of the school community will have resumed classes by this date, the priority has to be maintaining the safety and security of the school environment and minimising risk of Covid-19 transmission.

What will definitely not change is how the school will support all of our 6th year students as they progress from post-primary education to higher and further education and the world of work. As always, your wellbeing will be our priority and we will have a system in place for providing guidance, advice and support to you. We are more conscious than ever that this has been a year like no other for all 6th Year students.

The results date is slightly later than it would be if students had sat the examinations, this is the earliest that the results can be made available, given the rigorous and robust process that is involved in the Calculated Grades process.

The process includes a national standardisation process, validation of the statistical model and many quality assurance checks to ensure that the grades are accurate, reliable and fair to all students.
