GAMABA AWARD
Through the Gawad sa Manlilikha ng Bayad (GAMABA) or National Living Treasures Award, the NCCA searches for a Filipino citizen dedicated to bridging national character and art through sustaining age-old customs, crafts, and ways of living. His/her skills must have a high level of technical and artistic excellence, and is successfully passed down to the present generation, who must have the same level of proficiency.

 Indigenous Peoples' Rights Act (IPRA Law)
The Indigenous Peoples' Rights Act (IPRA Law) was created to recognize, protect, and promote the rights of Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs) and Indigenous Peoples (IPs) in the Philippines. This landmark legislation grants IPs the right to their ancestral domains and lands, allowing them legal ownership and control over territories they have traditionally occupied they also have the right to their right to self-governance, enabling them to maintain their own political structures, justice systems, and customary laws. The law also safeguards their cultural integrity, ensuring the protection of indigenous traditions, languages, sacred sites, and knowledge systems.
