The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), a commission established through RA. 7356 on April 3, 1992 continuously strives to conserve and promote Philippine culture and traditions through its recognition of history and the multiple Filipino artists who have shown their excellence in both the past and in contemporary times. NCCA also ensures that standards of excellence are adhered to in varying programs and activities surrounding art and their artists.
