                            Welcome to my class! I am delighted to be your child's teacher this exciting school year!! This is my 8th year teaching at St. Bartholomew School, and I have over 25 years of teaching experience.  It is my privilege and sincere pleasure to have the opportunity to watch your child grow and change from day to day in class. I am looking forward to witnessing all the exciting experiences and achievements your child will make over the next few months.  My approach to learning is dedicated to educating the whole child. This learning style is designed to enhance the social/emotional, intellectual, aesthetic and physical development of your child while nurturing autonomy, self-esteem and success.  This will ensure that each and every child becomes a self-motivated, life-long learner. As your child’s teacher, my main goal is to help each and every student achieve success in their education and to instill a great passion for life and learning. I will plan carefully and vary my instructional strategies in order to best challenge and meet the needs of all students in my class.

                       As a parent, you are your child’s first and most important teacher as well as a valuable partner in

 his or her education. An open line of communication between home and school is essential for success so
