Ideas for E-Learning Days!
Here are some activities if you are looking for something to supplement our E-Learning Activities (NOTE: These are not required assignments!)
- I requested Brainpopjr for free at home access by filling out a request form. They are offering this during school closures. I was granted access and can watch anything on the site. I believe you can do the same.
- Read a chapter book together as a family. Stop to discuss as you go.
- Write a letter to someone you who may not have visitors, or lives far away.
- Learn the value of coins.
- Be able to recognize the back of the coin too.
- Count coins up to sums of $1.00.
- Learn to tell time using an analog clock.
- Work on your Young Author's book.
- Write a story/book of your own.
- Write some poetry.
- Start a journal of your days and thoughts.
- Try some STEM explorations. Have an adult help you and get permission. Mrs. Clough's website has great ideas for STEM activities:

- With an adult cook from a recipe. Measure out the ingredients.
- Look for signs of spring. Pretend you are a bird and write how you feel with spring coming.
- With the help of an adult find some virtual field trips online.
Send a picture to ewardell@stbarnabasparish.org, of you doing something exciting at home. I will publish it on our website and our Class Dojo!
