The Headteacher and the Governing Body have jointly adopted our curriculum and assessment arrangements through ratification of policy and practice. It is continually kept under review through the school's self evaluation processes.
The world is continually changing, and we aim to prepare and educate our learners for the skills and knowledge they will need within it. Our curriculum design reflects this.
Through continuous evaluation, feedback from all stakeholders, ongoing self-reflection and keeping up to date with academic research, our theme content, approaches to learning and teaching and curriculum provision is constantly evolving.
All stakeholder feedback influences our self-evaluation processes which contribute to our School Improvement Report and priorities.
Practitioners, learners, parents, carers and the wider community are consulted with regularly. Curriculum design is constantly reviewed in light of feedback from these stakeholder. eg Questionnaires, Pupil Voice Groups, Curriculum Design Events.
Throughout the year staff will be moderating work from across the school to ensure progression is clear and in line with each progression step .
We will be undertaking similar processes with our Cluster school as we evaluate how the pupils learning and experiences are embedded and are in line with the four purposes
