Shared Risk and Protective Factors Peer to Peer Network

Addressing shared risk and protective factors and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) has the potential to decrease substance use, opioid misuse and multiple forms of violence and injury.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is starting a Shared Risk and Protective Factor Peer-to-Peer Network to build capacity and expertise among peers to increase prevention efforts nationwide that impact ACEs and address shared risk and protective factors known to link to opioid-related outcomes. Network participants will share ideas about how to address ACEs strategically to make a bigger impact and bridge and leverage funding throughout a number of programs.

Join the Peer to Peer Network to participate in quarterly learning opportunities, receive resources and technical assistance, apply for in-person site visits from leaders in the field, and the opportunity to come together for an annual training. The network will provide space to share expertise, experiences, and examples from work from the field, all focused on how to build ACEs prevention into your day to day work and strategies.
