Any form with registration marks is data captured and must be designed exactly to the CDOR form template.
CDOR posts interactive PDFs for each form uploaded on the 2020 Tax Grid. The interactive PDF will have layers that Software Form Developers can turn on and off in Adobe Acrobat Reader or Professional. Depending on what layer is needed, users should be able to toggle the layers to match their needs. The layers that will be included in the PDF are titled “Red X’s” layer, the “Document” layer, the 6x10 “Grid” layer and the “Draft Stamp” layer (only included if the form is not yet finalized). To access the layers panel in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat PRO, on the menu bar at the top of the screen, choose the drop-down “View” option, then “Show/Hide,” then “Navigation Panes” and finally Layers. An eye icon indicates a displayed layer and an empty box indicates a hidden layer. To hide a layer, click the eye icon. To show a hidden layer, click the empty box. See screenshots:
