Minimum Data Set (MDS) data is now available in the Top Ten Submission Errors Dashboard. CMS launched a new tab on the Top Ten Submissions Errors Dashboard labeled Minimum Data Set, which displays MDS 3.0 submission error data for Skilled Nursing Facilities, Swing Beds, and Nursing Homes.
The MDS tab displays graphs related to total MDS assessment submissions and assessment submissions that have Fatal or Warning errors. This tab provides the ability to drill down to analyze submission error data at the CMS Location, State, or Provider level within a specified timeframe. Analysis of this data will allow users to see common MDS submission errors, which may further indicate whether intervention is appropriate. If desired, these results can be downloaded into a Comma Separated Value (CSV) or Excel file.
