Automate Assessment Correction/Deletion Request Forms in iQIES
The Assessment Correction/Deletion Request Forms will now be filled out and submitted electronically in iQIES.
MDS 3.0 Manual Individual Correction/Deletion Request
(I created and attached a tutorial to aid in submitting the request)
You will need to complete and submit the form for approval in iQIES. The State RAI Coordinator will review and approve the deletion request in iQIES. Once the record is removed from the iQIES database, the status of the request will be marked as complete. Please note this action permanently removes the assessment from the iQIES database and cannot be reversed.

The campaign’s efforts include highlighting nursing home careers available for nursing professionals at all staffing levels.
This study assessed the relationship between nursing home staffing levels and excess outpatient emergency department (ED) visits by residents. The findings point to the need for policy measures that promote balanced staffing levels across different roles to effectively minimize excess outpatient ED visits by residents.

CMS Announces Funding Opportunity to Recruit RNs to Work in Nursing Homes, State Survey Agencies
January 8: CMS announced a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) available through the Nursing Home Staffing Campaign. The NOFO will accept applications from organizations interested in administering financial incentives aimed at recruiting registered nurses (RNs) to work in nursing homes and state survey agencies. Organizations eligible to apply are non-profit organizations that have relationships with RN schools or RN students.
